1. The applicant must be eighteen years of age before September 1 of the Fall Semester of the first year of the program. Both men and women are eligible to apply to the Radiography Program regardless of marital status or age. 2. The applicant must have earned a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
3. The applicant must have successfully completed any required "remediation" coursework in mathematics, reading, and/or writing as measured by the TSI placement test. Contact the Amarillo College Testing Center office (806-371-5445) to obtain specific information concerning placement test (e.g. types of tests, dates, cost, etc.) and possible exemptions.
4. The applicant must be able to fully participate in ALL clinical activities routinely required of a radiographer in such a way as to not pose a risk to the safety of a patient, self or medical personnel.
