The AC Testing Center is a unit of the Amarillo College Student Affairs Division. The Testing Center supports instruction, academic planning, and the community by providing various testing services for prospective students, current students, and members of the community, while adhering to the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines.

AC Testing Center General Policies

  1. No ID = No Test.  All testers are required to present a Valid, Non-Expired Photo ID each time they test. 
  2. Full exam time as designated by the instructor must be given. 
  3. No food or beverages are permitted in testing rooms at any time.
  4. No cell phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices are permitted in testing rooms at any time.
  5. No purses, bags, backpacks, etc. are permitted in testing rooms at any time.
  6. Lockable lockers are available for you to safely store your items. 
  7. No one may accompany a tester into a testing room at any time. This includes children, friends, spouses, etc. 
  8. The only materials allowed in the testing rooms are those outlined by each exam sponsor or instructor.

IMPORTANT: For the safety of all candidates and staff, please reschedule your exam if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, including fever or cough.

REMINDER: Do NOT forget to bring the proper form(s) of valid photo ID(s) and the payment (if applicable) for the test.  If you have any questions, or need to reschedule, please give us a call at (806) 371-5445.

Testing Integrity Policy

Please be advised that cell phones and all electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the testing room. ANY tester found to be in possession of or using an unauthorized electronic device during testing will have their score invalidated immediately. In such cases, the testing fee will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued. In addition, the tester may be prohibited from future testing at this site for a period of up to twelve (12) months. Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from testing at this location. All incidents are documented, and determinations are final following review of available evidence. This policy applies to ALL testers without exception.

By arriving at the testing center, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all testing center policies and procedures outlined above.
