As an Accredited Program, we strive to prepare Paramedics who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession.
The Amarillo College EMSP program does not offer advanced program placement opportunities to those seeking eligibility for the National Registry examination (typically requested by non-accredited, outside graduates; nurses; physicians; or other healthcare professionals). However, academic (transcript) credit may be awarded in some cases. Please note: Simply obtaining academic (transcript) credit should not be confused with one's ability to qualify for National Registry and/or State licensing/certification testing...one does NOT equate with the other.
