Mass Media Recording Arts Certificate Option

Learn at your own pace with our Amarillo College Continuing Education courses that offer AVID User-level instruction and certification for continuing education credit.  The new Mass Media Certificate - Recording Arts Option traditional studio courses offer hands-on experience and AVID User training, and students can earn academic college credit. You can take these courses in conjunction with your Associate’s degree, with the Mass Media Certificate – Recording Arts Option, or on their own.  We currently offer User and Music Operator level certifications in ProTools.

Mass Media Production Certificate Option

Amarillo College also houses an entirely student-run 100,000-watt radio station and public television station and offers comprehensive audio and video editing classes to prepare students to work in television, film, corporate video, radio, advertising, public relations, social media and related areas. Students gain hands-on experience in professional video production studios with live web-streaming, audio-editing and broadcast facilities and state-of-the-art computer labs.
