Student Payment Plans

Payment Plans let you pay tuition and fees over time, making college more affordable. The earlier you sign up for a payment plan, the smaller your payments can be.

The Payment Plan allows students who are enrolled in Fall and Summer courses to pay for tuition and fees in installments. Installments can be set up at anytime. There will be an administration fee (non-refundable) and your down payment due when a Plan Agreement is set up (see down payment table below).

Students who elect to use the Plan must complete and sign a promissory note (plan agreement). All plans are available online and in person. Students wishing to sign up for the Payment Plan must be at least 18 years of age. Students under the age of 18 needing to sign up for a payment plan must have their parent or legal guardian fill out the plan agreement in person.

  • Choose number of payments by sign up deadline date = 7, 6, 5, 4 or 3
  • Full balance divided into chosen number of payments
  • Available for a limited time for Summer & Fall only
  • $20 administrative fee
  • Down Payment - see table below for % based on payment plan

Failure to make timely payments by the due dates will result in the assessment of a delinquent fee. A student who fails to make payment in full, including incidental fees, by the due dates may be prohibited from registering for classes until full payment is made. A student who fails to make payment prior to the end of the semester may be denied credit for the work completed that semester. Refunds due as a result of withdrawal or schedule changes will be applied to the outstanding balance due to the note.

The Amarillo College Payment Plan may be used for all Academic tuition and fees. Students who choose to pay with the Payment Plan will need to agree to the terms of the plan online through AC Connect or in person at any AskAC Counter.
