Central Processing System, the US Department of Education’s Application System, selects certain students for a process called verification. Students will be notified of their selection through their Amarillo College email address. This email will contain instructions on retrieving the documents needed to complete the process.
Verification requires you to submit copies of specific documents which will be compared to what you reported on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
In addition to the requested and required documentation, you must also complete and return a Verification Worksheet to the Amarillo College Financial Aid Office.
Students will be required to submit only one verification worksheet.
Verification forms are located on the Forms page on the Financial Aid menu.
The school is unable to request or pay any of your federal financial aid until this process is complete.
Students who do not complete the verification process by the payment deadline will be required to pay for tuition and fees out of personal resources.
